stripping and refitting a mk1 radiator fan???

has anyone stripped the fan off a mk1 clio that sits behind the radiator?? i took mine off car as im doing head and found out that it has seized up so me and a friend started spraying it with wd40, chain lube and everythingelse but wasnt having any of it so in the end we hit it few times with a hammer but the back has decided to come off now nad cant get it to lock itself back in now

anyone know how to do this, think its spring loaded???

Pop down the scrapyard and get a spare, scrap yards are full of mk1 clios. If the motor is seized its probably un-fixable.

my cousins mk 1 seized and my old one seized, just geta new one, cheap anyway bout £20

Yep i think your best bet is to buy a new one from the scrappies! less hassel than trying to rebuild one!
