id leave them on m8,
i really like the look of them

cnt say weather theyd leave a mark tho,
however i took badges of a m8s car that was 10 years old, and there was no noticable colour difference

Arctic blue with stripes???

Got any pics mate?

I like the look of them on the racing blue 182, but not sure how they would look on arctic blue

Leave them on, It'll show if you take 'em off - just like when you see sign written vans de-stickered and you can still make out what it used to say untill the unfaded paint starts to fade also.

only thought they look good on racing blue but it would be good to see a pic

I'd take them off, don't really suit Arctic Blue to be honest.

Having said that, I have owned my 182 nearly 3 and half years now and whilst cleaning the car yesterday I thought about removing mine.

off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! racing blue ONLY rule! i get mad when i see other colours with them on! lol

As a RB owner with stripes, I say they've got to go. They don't belong, or look right, on an Arctic Blue.

If they were not going to leave a mark, i'd have them off quicker than you can say "racing stripes look chavvy".... But to be fair, high probability to leave a mark, or at least a change in paint tone, and unless you want to pay £200+ for detialing to remove/disguise, may be best off leaving them on...

are they original???
i thought they only came as standard on the rb clios. if thats the case they would be gone if it was mine. and the paint under them would proply only need a quick flick over with a mop and some g3 to get it looking the same as the reast of the paint work.

Chances are dependant on how long they've been on, if you take them off, the colour under the stripes will be slightly different to the rest of the car (sunshine and UV rays and all that)..

Leave them on.

I would personally leave them on, they put them on there to pay homage to the Gordini......

Nooooooooo! Wont let you remove em mate, they look lush on yours :D

Take them off, but personally don't like them on the racing blue, look odd unless wheels are white. The paint will not be faded in anyway, a quick polish/mop will remove any dirt up against the side of the stripes.

I have seen 172 Cup's with them on and I thought they looked rather good in that case.

I have looked at the pic you posted but there is not enough of a view to see it. I say if you like it leave them on as in general I think they look very good.
