Strange problem ?

Hi,

I have just fitted 182 exterior door handles onto my phase 1 so it's all colour co ordinated, however when I unlock my car and try to open the passenger side from the outside I can't, if I open the passenger door from the inside, close it, I can then open it from the outside ??? Lol

How random ! Any ideas would be appreciated !

Sounds like you've not put the passenger side handle on quite right and it's not unlocking properly when you use the plipper. If your car has a key hole on the passenger door (some do some don't) have you tried a manual unlock and then testing the handle. I'd try taking it off and putting it back on again see if that cures it.
