Steering wheel rubber inserts

Can someone tell me if the rubber grips at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock are replacable the one on the right hands side of mine has split and come away from the wheel. Which is wierd cos i dont use them?!

dont know about the price of a new wheel but mine is also doing it on the right hand side

Could a retrimmer not make an alternative to both thumbgrips using the "good one" as a template?

I have a mint 172 wheel with only the left thumb-grip and that was my intention, just haven't got round to it yet lol

Yeah, the wheel, airbag and cruise buttons comes to a silly price like above. The basic 172 wheel is like £350 plus VAT from dealers.

You say you got one done under warranty, is that correct as my car has 2 months warranty left.
My wheel has the cruise control buttons too.

Oh yes, my rubber on the right hand side has come loose and actually split yesterday.
