steering wheel OR handbrake / gear stick ?

  Clio 182
I'm gonna invest in some additional security but when I browsed Halfords for steering wheel thingies,
I found they also do locks that go over the handbrake and round the gear stick.

Opinions on either please ?

handbrake one is sh*te, best you can buy is a FULL disklock for the steering wheel

  As father and son....
the straight up steering lock picture there is a pain in the arse. or it was on my clio. really didnt like my steering wheel and itd set the horn off at least once every time i put it on. two days later it went back

When you say sh*te, what's so bad?
I imagine they're more practical than the huge disc wheel locks.

They have a newer one which looks ok http://www.autolok.co.uk/Pages/Aprotector.htm
and the older one is going for £15 from fasteronline.co.uk

Worth noting that neither of their gear lock products are listed on the Sold Secure website though.

Another concern I have was the thing scuffing the handbrake.
