Starting issues

2 days running now the car doesn’t want to start 1st time, turns over fine second attempt and fires up fine? I was thinking maybe crank sensor?

Could clean up the crank sensor, try swapping lambdas around too

What happens if:

1) put the ignition on stage II to prime the fuel system.
2) turn the ignition off completely.
3) try to start the car.

I’ll try that tomorrow morning and see what happens ? starts fine after work just seems to be on a morning which is strange

I’ve not cleaned it in awhile tbh! Lambda is not that old can’t see it being that?

Depends what brand it was, does it crank over and sputter or anything like that?

Bosh turns over fine no spluttering, then second attempt fires up no problems

I had this issue. Even though my battery seemed to have enough poke to turn the engine over easily, I charged it fully (as mentioned in this thread) and it has started first time ever since.......worth a try?

Sounds like it could be fuel pressure related. Battery is a good shout too.
