standard cd changer with aftermarket HU?

Is this possible, ive got the cd changer under the drivers seat and was wondering if its possible to link it upto an aftermarket head unit? ive currently got the standard cassette player in the car but have a nice jvc headunit i want to fit, but dont want to loose cd changer.

gutting, i have the wiring to use the steering controls, bought for my old car and never used. may fit my head unit and see how it goes.

only with an apline headunit. any others and it wont work. just buy a headunit with a usb port. better than a cd stack anyday

Does that mean my Alpine X100 will work with a Renault Alpine CD Changer?..
