Standard air box feed

I was just doing my windscreen washer pump and I leant on the standard fabric style intake into the standard air box (it was behind the passengers headlight) and it popped out. Do I need to put it back in or is it ok without it?

That's the feed for the acoustic valve. Rip it all out.

Sweet thanks I couldn't seem to pull the other bits that were further down. Is it ok to leave them?
