Here is some pics of my throttle body, prepared for my 2,1L engine..

Dont know if it will work, but there is about a 10% larger inlet area!?

I will of course need a remap of the ECU, but then again, i would anyway, going from 1794 ccm to 2111 ccm, big valve head, cams, lightened bottom end, and hopefully a BMC air filter.

Crank from a Megane (same as Willy and diesel),and pistons from a Peugeot 206 GTI (85mm diameter), special headgasket fra Mecaparts in France...

Pic is on its way...

ooo ooo ooo!!!

can you get me measurements of the 206 piston, i am needing an 85mm piston for my Xflow.

Could you give me total length, skirt length, comp height, is the gudgeon offset?

What does the crown look like?

Actually, a pic would help........if this is too much just tell me, then go get the info....lol

Hmmm... was not a good quality pic.... take one tomorrow :)

Will get you the measurements as soon as the pistons arrive... I am having the rods altered to fit the pistons... Renault pistons have floating gudgeon pins, whereas the peugeot are "fixed" in position..??? Know what i mean?

When they arrive i will post a pic!

The crown are coated in teflon... The pistons are very very light.... Much lighter than the Megane 2L piston which are a whole lot lighter the the F7P pistons..... (Looks like they might have come from a Ford T) ;)

Yep... OE / Standard 206GTI pistons.... Lighter than some 84,5mm forged pistons i used earlier...

They really looks the business!!! :D

Its a throttle body from a R19, slightly modified, larger inlet area, and quite a lot of restrictive material has been removed..

No need to fabricate a mounting flange for an air filter like the BMC or PiperX.. Its already there!! :)

I had a friend do the enlargement with a CNC machine....

The butterfly i did my self with a grinder and a file...

It is very difficult getting it right. The butterfly should be a snug fit, but without any resistance when opening up the throttle... If the fit is not ideal all the way round, ie. air gets past, it can be rectified with the idle control screw on top of the throttle body... (its not perfect, but could have been lot worse!!! :cool:)

2,1L should be on the road in about 2 month, i hope!!!

Still need conrods, conrod bolts, and pistons to arrive. Clutch is being made right now..
