Smoking/overheating/misfire

  182 FF
Evening all,

I'll cut to the point, seems like head gasket. Please tell me I'm wrong.

182 randomly started a slight misfire, but this was intermittent. A few days later it began overheating. Topped up coolant and water and it seemed ok, but found myself topping up again in a few days, maybe a week later. Misfire intermittent all the time. Last day or so it's now 9/10 going to be running rough and will over heat every time. It's not also chucking masses smoke which seems to be white. No gunky residue in oil or coolant cap though.. (yet).

So, heavy smoking, overheating, misfire.

Read that the F4R rarely/never through head gaskets, so I'm hoping it's something else if anyone has any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like classic head gasket to me, how far have you let it overheat? Might have warped the head by now, making it worse.
