When stationary with the engine running and I turn the wheel slightly from left to right I can feel down near my feet a knock as if there is slight play in the steering. (feels very much like a worn joint in a mk1 clio) Has anyone had this issue or even noticed it!?
I have also noticed when Im going 70-80mph and turn the wheel slightly from left to right fairly quickly (as if warming tyres on a race car) I get a vibration through the wheel which stops when going straight.
Recently had the MOT and the only thing that flagged up was a lower ball joint which got replaced but the issue still persists. I thought it maybe wheel bearings but they are fine.
Can anyone shed any light. Car is a 182 Trophy.
