Skitty/Bouncy/Uncomfortable

I was driving along yesterday and suddenly the ride became quite bouncy and uncomfortable, I could feel pretty much every little bump in the road and it felt as if it was coming from the rear.

Does anyone have ideas why this would happen and what it could be?

from what you have said it sounds like the rear shocks need replacing.

Is it typical symptoms of shock failure?
