I spent yesterday at a rather grim Silverstone for the classic, the rain actually stayed away and the event was fantastic. Tickets are pricey but the variety of cars racing was impressive, spent most of the day watching the track with a few mooches through the club stands but most of those are standard fare. Would definitely recommend as a day out though, the racing isn't as close as something like BTCC but they were not holding back, i think 90% of the minis had damage at the end of their race ?
