So good to see someone else with a silver mk3 ph2 doing some bits and bobs to it, will be keeping an eye on this! Love the GT model aswell :)

I've been looking into the 45mm H&R springs for my TCE, quite a nice drop with them

Cheers mate, I fancie springs as well but don't know if I dare go that low, don't really want to buy coil overs as they are pricey and tbh I think that car handles brilliantly as is

I am considering the eibach pro lowering springs as I've heard good things

I want to spend money on performance mainly, such as a bigger intercooler and a decat

You done much to your tce

  Not a 320d
Coilovers, 70mm.

Worst mistake I ever made. Its fun to drive but its so impractical, £1K, plus the 20mm spacers, camber bolts and setups down the pan as theyre now damaged thanks to icy conditions. Its true what people say about them not being suitable for the road lol.

Serious question, what makes it an FF GT? There isn't a GT Cup? Presumably it doesn't have the fully blown 200 chassis?

This looks soo nice, wern't too keen on the Mk3's til i saw this, looks really good! In my opinion you shouldn't de-wiper the back because as it's debadged it might make it look a bit too empty? wiper helps break it up a bit, but having said that i might be totally wrong lol

awesome car :)

Yeah coilovers look so good on the mk3 but they're very expensive. I haven't really done anything major to mine, just silvervisions all round, wind deflectors and debadged at the rear. Gonna get those H&R springs though and get some decent pictures of it fitted soon enough! How much did you pay for those spacers if you don't mind me asking?

How are you finding trhe tuning box? Ive had myne on my Audi for a couple of months now and relly like it. Low down extra torque is very nice.

the box is great the torque is brilliant, have no worries about over taking just leave it in 6th and it pulls from 70 mph to 90mph very effortlessly, but pulls alot harder than it used to,

i would defiantly recommend one,

get nothing but grief about people giving me horror stories about them, but they dont understand im only using it while my car is under warranty, as it unplugs and no one ever knows

i have heard good things about the 1.9, my mate has the 2.0 170 in his lean fr which he cant fault either, how come you prefere the 1.9, as i am tempted by the A/S3 TDI but unsure what engine to go for

Early 2.0tdis 03-06 iirc had head issues 06-08 have injector issues but i think the dealers cover them. 1.9 pd engine is bullet proof, mynes done 122k (04plate) has never needed anything apart from routine servicing.

you just had to be that guy didnt you.

Unbelieveable. I looked at the title and figured it was a GT with a load of boxes ticked.

fitted Eibach pro lowering kit last weekend to the GT's but the front top mounts on my GT are different to the ones on my brothers so i am currently running round with 30mm off the back and mega arch gap at the front until the new set comes.

well today got some carbon wrap and decided to rap the lower bumper/splitter and the front bump strips. it was a big job just to get the bottom splitter off full bumper off and grill out which was held on by far to many clips, but personally i think it was worth it and looks great
