Silky Silver Swift Sport.

  M16a
So it's a great day today in Haggisland so I got out the cleaning gear and thought I would gut the Swift.

It was in at Suzuki this morning having a diagnostic check as I wasn't happy with the ESP/ABS, turned out to be a loose connection.

2 hrs later and I had it back, and well.. It was manky.

3 hrs later and a host of cleaning supplies, this is the result. Please note I am by no way a detailer, and have yet to de-tar it but I think it looks rather good!

It's a fabulous car, great mix between performance, fun and economy.

Ever since I've had it (about 6 months) I've averaged 38.1 mpg with a complete mixture of driving. Will easily see 45-47 mpg on a decent run.
No mechanical issues at all apart from the ESP/ABS that I found out was just a loose connection.

Comfort is excellent, (well for me anyway) I previously had a 1.2 Clio which was terrible in comparison.
No rattles or creaks, and reasonably quiet on the road.

If I'm honest, It could do with maybe another 15-20 HP but on the roads these days, it really doesn't need it at all. The handling is superb and the engine is an absolute peach. Turns into a complete different beast above 4000 rpm and is an absolute hoot.

So it's fair to say I really really like it and will no doubt keep this for a while to come, although the new Sport model caught my eye at the dealers this morning, It's going to be a limited run of 500 and has an astounding spec list for the price. (Plus it looked great in blue)

Couldn't recommend them any higher(Looking at you here Ste), I absolutely love it.

Cheers for reading,
Graeme
