silencing exhaust

is there any way of silencing the exhaust on a budget, like by putting some fibreglass mat inside the tube to dampen it?

nah for 30 odd quid, they simply cut your existing centre section and insert a centre silencer and weld it back up.

can get it fairly quiet, but does depend on the exhast they're fitting it to.
