I like it a lot but I think it suits the visibly modded cars better like yours. I'm planning to keep mine looking standard.

Next up is wheel refurb then I've got a scuff to sort. I had thought that would be it but I don't really like the new cheap backbox on it. So probably need to factor in for a stainless now 🙈

Bought my little cup around a year ago now for £650!
150,000miles and still going strong...

Just this week I have Orderd a tessa intake and a set of 197 cams, currently debating whether to switch to a 182 manifold..

Moved it, cleaned it, put it back. Anthracite Pro Race 1.2’s going on tomorrow and then the PMS shifter once the group buys goes through. Really need to put some miles on it then, it’s done less than 75 miles since November!

I really like the roll cage with the net & matt,i keep thinking of doing the same,as no one goes in the back and i always remove one rear bench when i go camping,nice work.

Car looks great :up: what cage did you go for? I keep looking at them and stripping out the rear as you have but can't decide at the minute :smile: you won't be disappointed with the PMS when it arrives I'm sure, be good to see it on the 1.2's as well!

It’s just a £200 Alan Dent cage (alachi on eBay). I’m really pleased with it, got it powder coated graphite (£40) and was a piece of cake to fit. Really looking forward to getting the PMS shifter, keep hearing great things about it.

I fitted the 1.2’s today, and while they look nice I miss the Turinis already. The 1.2’s are going to be for track and I’m getting the Turinis stripped and refurbished so I can have them back on for the road. Lack of 1.2 on pics as I forgot once I’d pulled out of the workshop.

It’s all original matey, it needs a full machine polish really when I get time. It had a snow foam yesterday followed by a wash and then just a quick spray and wipe over with some autoglym aquawax

Was really easy to fit, you have to take the front seats out but I replaced these at the same time anyway so wasn’t an issue. I used a ratchet strap to pull the two sides of the cage together ever so slightly then once in place released the strap, drilled the holes then bolted it up. I undersealed where the plates fit under the car/arch to keep them looking good, oh I also painted the spreader plates that fit under the car/arch before fitting them.

Yeah I got it powder coated it arrived bare metal as per pic. If you ring Alan (think his number is on eBay) tell him you’re a Cliosport member and he’ll do it a bit cheaper than eBay buy it now eBay price.
