Short Shifter

Does anyone know if the short shifters for a Mk1 Clio would fit a Mk2 and vice versa?

Its just to see if they are all the same. If possible pics of a Mk2 short shifter before its been fitted would be great as I already have some of a Mk1 to compare to.

I have a feeling that the Mk1 is the same as the 5 Turbo, but not sure about the Mk2's

Yeah thats what I had thought tbh and someone on another forum has confirmed that the R5 item is the same as the Mk1 clio. I think the Mk2 clio item is very similar but it seems that the bottom part of the gear linkage is a bit different.

The Mk2 is the same as the megane coupe's etc. Mk1 is different.

Are you 100% sure about that?

I've just been doing a search and seen a lot of posts in which people have said they are the same across all Mk1 and Mk2 clios? If anyone know 100% for sure could you please let me know.
