Totted up 18 months worth of receipts last night.

Bearing in mind c£1400 was crash damage and another c£800 was stuff thats not essential but done for peace of mind or for the sake of it, and also 3 lots of tyre changes:

Purchase price: £1400

Total spent: £3830.26

Its a valver. When you thik about ti though I reckon ive only spent about £1500 on essential items that werent already factored in to the purchase price (which was below the going rate when I bought it)

Thats less than £100/month so not too bad. Plus I could prolly sell it on still and get more than £1500 for the car so its not depreciated.

i darent add mine up, valver brought for 2.2k, must have spent 2.5 easily in the year, nearly all non essentials apart from MOT/Service
