Sensor Help Please

While fitting my airbox i spyed an un-used sensor that didn't seem right. Im having troubles with my reverse light not working and after asking on here ive been adviced it could be the reverse switch.

Is this it thats un plugged with no plug insight?

I cant really tell by the pic but i think thats a speedo sensor.... im a little drunk so i could be wrong

Has it got a box from a cup or ph1 in there? That would explain why the sensor is in there

the ABS box will be driving your speedo, don't worry, you just have an unused speed sensor there. The reverse switch is sort of on the end of the box underneath, it has a small cable running to it that wraps around the the big pressed tin cover on the end of your gearbox

Thanks everyone, i will have a look at the gearbox for the reverse sensor and get it changed.
