Can someone explain what the deal is with replacing a frayed seatbelt, a lot of places are telling me they won't sell me just a belt because the whole unit with pretensioners has to be replaced.
Isn't the pretensioner on the left side then leads under the drivers seat (i'm speaking from the drivers seat point of view btw) meaning i can just open up the loom and straight replace the belt itself?
I have a 2003 172 PH2 172 if that makes a difference.
Thanks
p.s i've lost count of the amount of people that have said "be careful mate you could end up blowing your fingers off"
