SD Card error?

Now I use an Innovate LM2 to do my datalogging whilst I do my remaps. This saves the data on to an SD Card. I usually plug it directly into the port of my laptop. But yesterday it kept saying it wasn't formatted. I tried to format it and it wouldn't have any of it still. So I put it in my partners laptop and it worked fine.

Both are on windows 7. Both are toshiba laptop's but different models.

Is there any reason for this? Would a universal card reader sort it out?

I've had this before with a few different cards.

On the PC it works with, try doing a full format on it, maybe changing the drive name, i.e. from (G) to (F)

Theres a few ideas to try if you google, some may work.
