Screeching sound

Hi guys

When i start up my 182 in the mornings and whenever i start it again (end of work) and i pull away or reverse and turn the steering wheel full lock i notice a screechy squeaking sound from the front of the car? Quite embarassing and loud. Any ideas? Guessing cold weather might be playing a part

Aux belt slipping

^That. Same with mine.

There's a few reasons it could be slipping but invariably it's with the PAS system.

This happens on my 1.2 also but because it doesnt has PAS im assuming the aux belt is loose?

Had this happen on the 182 I used to own- was ps pump and got progressively worse, first thing to check is ps fluid level. If low top up and keep an eye on it, I later experienced it happening again (year/ year and half later) - not sure if it's 'common yet' but there was a cut in the ps pipe under battery side - mechanic said it was a heat shield or the likes rubbing / vibrating / grinding against pipe, so if there is a leak also check there
