Scrapping old alloy

Hi there,

I recently bought a new anthracite alloy for my 182 as the previous owner had cracked the original.

There is no way it could be repaired so I was thinking about scrapping it for some dollar. Anyone done this before and know roughly how much I could get?

Aparently about 7£ mate.

I've heard about £10 so previous poster is probably right. Just take it to any car dismantlers or scrap metal merchants. They'll weigh it and then make you an offer.
