hi just thought id introduce my car, had it about a month now but gave it a proper clean the other day, ended up claying and polishing with bilt hamber stuff then finishing off with some ultra deep shine autoglym. next job after a cambelt change is wheels refurbed. was a cat C front end but all it needed was a pair of headlights, a bonnet and couple of repairs to a wing and the bumper. absolutely loving it after coming from a 1.8 escort.

yeh i know, i asked the bodyshop that done it to repaint the boot too as there was rust creeping in at the bottom and they managed to put that badge on wonky but i was too scared to take it off fresh paint, lol

thanks for the replys everyone. and yeh as far as i can tell its the original exhaust and surprisingly still looks in relatively good condition, but will be swapped for a ktec stealth once ive got the important bits sorted.
The front tyres are yokos as said but the avons on the rear need upgrading to yokos as ive had a few brown trouser moments with lift off oversteer, lol.
The wheels im likely to refurb in a really bright silver. i love the look of them on black/anthracite wheels but dont wanna stray too far from standard in terms of looks but i fully expect to change my mind in a couple of months.
I know i paid over the odds for it considering its a cat c but im planning on keeping it for a few years so dont mind and its one owner from new, full service history and only 62k. all fixed, sorted and back on the road with 6 months tax it was £1950. the insurance wrote it off and paid previous owner £4000 for it! not quite sure where they got that figure from, lol

Was on the rolling road at bhp performance show too the other day and made bit less than id hoped but not too sure on the accuracy of the rollers. they had an astra vxr that had been done couple of months before that should have hit 250bhp at least but only managed jut over 220 and an 08 clio 197 that had few mods and nice exhaust but that only made 172bhp, needless to say the owner wasnt pleased, lol. mine came out at 153.2bhp.
