running lean??

I noticed when changing my plugs a few weeks ago that there was a build up of white stuff on the two right plugs. The car was and still is running spot on though.
Does this mean the car is running lean or rich?
Also what must be done to rectifiy this?

Cheers, but there isnt a pic that really matches, mine looked like the pic number 7, general wear, but mine also had white build up on the threads.

Was it white on the thread but browny white on the electrodes? The colour and condition of the electrode is the most important bit really

Cant remenber it mat have had some brown in but i would say it was mainly white.
