RS Lumbar support

  Twingo Dynamique
Hey folks, i have an issue with my lumbar support which I presume may be quite common.

I have sourced the issue to be the end of the cable coming free, so rotating the spool on the side just winds the cable up etc. Is there an easy way to fix this? Cheers for any help!

Don't know if you're still looking to fix your lumbar issue. However, I have finally managed to sort mine out which failed last year. This guide should get you on your way: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?348418-Lumbar-Support-Quick-Fix

My problem was worse that this above as the entire nipple had sheared off the end of the cable. I got a solderless nipple from here: http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/motorcycle/controlcable.php

I got the bigger one on the left:

After tidying up the frayed end of the cable I was able to get it through this jobbie, tighten it up then slot it back into the bracket. Had to pry the bracket wider with some pliers. I can't fully wind up the support due to the loss of the original nipple and the new one being further down the cable, but its certainly better than nothing.
