Rs 172 Ecu question

Is the Ph1 172 stock ecu able to run 'ignition only' without any issues? i'm thinking of going 'old school' with 45 dcoe carbs but want to retain stock ignition control.

no it will throw up every fault under the sun, and go into limp

That is what i thought it may do so thanks for the reply. And 1985 and Carb's are my era.................it's much easier for me to tune at circuits with 'jets' than a 300 mile round trip for a remap. A well set up set of carb's is easily as good as ITB's if you know what you are doing
