Ropey Steering alignment?

Hi Folks, So as part of my continuing quest to make my beloved Clio a little nicer on the roads, I'm hoping to get the steering sorted out. Since realising the Slam panel has been replaced on the car i'm beginning to think that the previous owner has crashed it, likely into the pillars at the base of their driveway or something, hopefully this accoutns for the steering.

At the moment, my steering wheel is roughly in the 10-11 position - this makes you go straight.
Left to its own devices, the car will pull to the right, probably due to the wheel straightening itself up, turning the wheels right.

I'm hoping to put some coilovers in soon to replace the standard shocks etc. and at the same time I will get the alignment etc. all done, should that sort it out?
I'm not looking forward to it going up on the ramps and seeing that it's sub-frame or something else is like a jigsaw of parts!

Thanks!
