Road Angel in a 172 mk2

Iv borrowed a mates Road Angel for my weeks driving from Essex to the lake Districts and beyond.. However It dont work!! It was working in his car(new Vectra) Is this somthing to do with the heated screen?? If so is there anypart of the screen that it will work?

I dont know the model of it but he paid £400 for it

The GPS receiver needs to be on the parcel shelf normally for the best pickup.

Is there a way to check satallite strength? There is on the Origin b2 etc.

Put it on the dash near the rectangle on the windscreen. There is a rectangular space on the centre lower part of the windscreen, non heatshied etc.
