Revs after just started car

Hi all,

When I start my car after it's been sitting on my drive all night, for the first few minutes sometimes when I slow down for a roundabout and put the car into neutral the revs take a little longer to drop from 2/2.5k than usual.

Is this just part of the 'cold start' ecu settings??

I'd say so. Most modern Nissans do this, just to burn off the excess fuel thats there from it being on cold start. Lots of customers new to Nissan complain of it.

Thanks for response - should I be letting my car warm up for a bit longer before using??

Nop, not necessary really. How many of us do? It'll be fine.
