Rev counter , temp , starter motor

Hi all

just replaced the gearbox in my 182 and the rev counter doesn't work along with the temperature gauge,
also the starter motor seems to do what it wants, sometimes it turns the engine over once and sometimes it turns it over untill it starts, any ideas ,

ive be already gone accross all of the earths to make sure there all in good
nick and checked the fuses and relays

any help appreciated

Presume the gearbox has a speedo sensor on it, or lack of in this case?
