Replacing clutch on 1.2 16v

Wondering if it's possible to DIY - drop subframe method.

I've done my cambelt etc and change a rear beam. Don't want to challenge myself too much and risk messing it up. Got Haynes and a decent amount of tools just no engine hoist.

Also by dropping the subframe is it possible to remove the gearbox with the wet driveshaft together so I can clean it up?

If you can do a cambelt and swap a rear beam, no reason you can't change a clutch too, just take it easy and do things step by step.

Why would you want to remove the box and shaft together? Drain the box oil, remove the shaft, then remove the box. Will be a fiddly fucker otherwise.
