Renault clio 172 cup - best induction kit??

  Clio 172 Cup
Hi

Could somebody tell me what the best induction kit is for my 172 cup.

What would be the gains from it, the rest of the car is standard.

Also what other light mods could I do to the engine, please also tell me the prices involved.

Thanks.

What's your budget for all your ideas of light mods ?
Welcome to CS ;)

Not sure. I don't want to ruin the standard car, so I don't want to go to a major change. Also would like to be able to put everything back to standard when I come to sell it. I could spend anything upto £500 on engine mods for a start.

dont bother.... just get a panel filter.
best gains from an induction kit is from the Maxogen/BMC CDA, but neither are worth the price tag.

i love my maxogen, and you notice a difference, but its sure as hell not worht 400 quid.

ITG panel filter for 40 quid mate.

Not easy to suggest with £500 especially taking into account doing 100% reversible mods

Reversible mods - ITG panel filter £45, Yozzasport decat £100ish, Prospeed custom exhaust £320ish

To get best out of above also get RSTuning remap £275 but many will then recommend having matched inlets £220ish fitted but now your upto £1k

Forget any talk of bhp gains on the filter alone, it did seem to make the engine breathe better on my 172 though (only mod i ever did)

I just fitted my mates K&N 57i kit with a k tec stealth syatem and sounds sweeter then mine and I got itg kit and prospeed
