Renault CD/MP3 Player

I have an 05 clio and the standard head unit does not play mp3s. Is there an updated / upgraded version of the unit that does have mp3 capability? If so, where could i get one? Im not keen on getting an aftermarket unit, would prefer the standard look.

no none of the original head units play mp3.
if you look up some alpine head units they have a orange light the same as the renault dash lights.
thats the best you can do im afraid

You can use the audio-connection-box on your changer input, think even ipod is supported and controllable via stalk.

Think you need to be more clear as the way you have written it could state you want either mp3 cd's or the connection for an mp3 player

what are the newest renaults fitted with these days? Might be worth a look in the showroom though I doubt there is one that will work with the older clio multichanger as well.

i know its not exactly the same but i linked a sony cd changer to my escort a few years ago via a connect2 adaptor, i wouldnt say its an impossibility!!
