removing intake man and rocker cover

hi,

i want to remove my intake manifold and rocker cover to clean them up abit and give them a coat of high temp paint. is ther anything i need to avoid or tricky parts that i need to look out for, any sensors hard to remove ect. any advice would be apreciated before i start and f**k something up.

Inlet manifold is a straight forward job. But the rocker cover can't be removed as it hold the cams in place iirc.

​I sprayed mine when it was in the engine bay.

I didn't, but at the time I had my RS2 manifold fitted. So it wasn't really a problem.
z
But I'd recommend you take yours off, and you might as well give it a quick clean at the same time :)
