Relocating battery to the boot

its easy.

Just a long decent bit of cable, that can take the current. A bit of cable for a new earth and a log for the end of it.

Then some sort of connecter to connect the new cable to the old in engine bay!

do i need to run just the positive or an earth as well?

Could i cut up some 400 amp jump leads? ;)

what are the benefits of actually doing this though? an i do mean other than having more engine bay space.

Shifting weight further back is good for the balance of the car.

You only need to run a positive, I use the earth that the rear lights use right at the back for mine.

Hold it down with blu-tac, couple of coathangers joined together with sticky back plastic covering them, job done ;) Blue peter styleeeeeeeee

Some Autoleads cable from Halford, cant remember what guage it is but it's MORE than ample. I use the stock battery and a battery tray bolted through the floor!
