Rear Window Seal

Can you or has anyone replaced there rear quarter window seals on the 172/182?

Or can i just run some black silicone round it neatly,but obvs do this in the summer when all the moisture has dried out.

Do you mean rear quarter side glass or tailgate?

I asked the chap that replaced my windscreen if he could do this.
Said he does it all the time for paintshops.
Would mean you coming up to Luton though.

Probably any independent windscreen specialist would handle it for a reasonable price, though I can let you have his phone number if you would like.

They are bonded in mate.

No seals, just bonded.
It took less than hour to change my screen, enen got the cracked one out in one piece!

They are bonded but there is a rubber seal that sits between the glass edge and body. This is fixed to the glass and can not be brought as a part if you want to change it, new glass I am afraid and it comes on it.

Spent hours trying to sort a cut in mine cause by a roof rack.
