Rear Pad Clips

So last night I took my rear wheels off to paint my brake callipers, noticed the there was no spring clips over the pads, is that normal on a 182?

Sure it isn't but just thought I'd check.

Are they safe or is it just a matter of luck that my pads haven't fallen out on the motorway at 70 MPH?

Am I right in thinking the clips are the same as Saxo vts/r clips? If so I'll order some for peace of mind I think.

I would replace them they sell kits with springs and the small L shaped metal bits,i know because my springs were not in right and i lost a pair of pads,when they came out there was a hell of a noise, frightened the life out of me

Don't go to Renault, I got bent over to the sum of £35 for the rear pad shim kit. I later found a kit on eBay. And yes they do share fixing's.
