Rear fog light when braking

Bit of a strange one, anytime i do any sort of braking my rear fog light comes on in the dash, the lights themselves dont come up but that will always flash up when i brake. I have no clue when it comes to wiring or electrics so i dont know how im going to sort it, just abit annoying thats all lol

any help would be appreciated

Have u searched? This comes up a lot.

Could be dodgy connection I think.

check all the relays are pushed in to their connection mate this happened in my olr car. The relays are next to the fuse box on the roof of the passenger foot well , do you hear any clicking noises when this happens if so its defo the relays, they work loose cause the fuse box is mounted upside down.

Yeah mate i get the clicking all the time didn't realise what it was ill give that a go and see if its works , nice one

Comes as standard. Crappy design on the rear lights, poor earthing. Bet it does it more when it's wet ?

I had this gave the bulbs a wobble and it's been fine since!
I also cleaned the earths and the connecters on the bulb holders

My 172 Cup has done this since I got it - figured it must be a dodgy earth somewhere or something

bad earth, clean connectors at rear lights with WD40. this will almost defo solve the problem
