Hi,am going to attempt to swap over my standard lower inlet for an r s stamped one tomorrow, any words of advice would be greatly recieved.,Car is a ph1.

  Ph1
Theres a bolt on the side above the pulleys.

Jack the car up
Support the engine via the sump (piece of wood between jack and sump for protection)
Remove upper Plenum and anything which would get in the way
Remove fuel guard
Remove fuel pipe from rail
Remove fuel rail.
Remove all the front bolts of the inlet
Remove side bolt (might have to jack car up to gain access)
And then shuffle inlet out

Think thats about it lol

I just couldn`t get to the bolt under the bracket so i`ve given up,went to four ashes renault specialists and they have quoted me £100+ to fit it so i`ll leave it for now.

£100 is way ott. I wouldnt go there after they did my engine change, they rushed bits.... Like the bolts they put in my coilpack were to small and they rattled loose, i found 2 bolts that hadnt been tightend etc
