New magazine I spotted in WHS at lunchtime - 1st issue is half-price too so thought Id give it a go. TBH doesnt seem that great a mag, looking at it quickly: the tests only allow about 1 page of text per car, not enough detail compared to the likes of evo. But, quickly scanned it as lunchtime and its got a test of the 182 versus a Seat Ibiza Cupra TDI...
The Clio won...
They liked:
Clios chassis, engine, and the stripes!
Ibizas mid-range punch, running costs and cabin quality
They didnt like:
Clios build quality, cabin space and turning circle
Ibizas lumpy ride, tyre noise and diesel clatter
So nothing new to be learned there then...
That Ibiza seems to be damn fast - great ingear times.
