PS3 2.5 Update warning

  BMW e46 320 Ci Sport
If you stream HD content via tversity the new firmware can cause issues with it. There is a fix avalible by editing the profile.xml file in tveristy to state v 1.5 rather than 1.0 (do a search and replace). Worth knowing cause i was well f**ked off with it last night having planned to watch iron man in HD!

Fortunately the fix works nicely. Otherwise you'll just get streamed content come up as unsupported media!

thanks for that, i was wondering why some stuff like the small little previews had stopped working on mine, this might be the reason.

do you have a direct link with instructions?

took me ages to find them...erm...basically..

First update you tversity to latest versions...then

go to your tversity folder. Find the profile.xml file, edit with word pad, find a reference to PS3 Version 1.00 and change it to 1.50 (there are two), then save the file, restart tversity, restart file sharing, turn on ps3 and it should have worked. Worked for me.

i just updated to RC4, this version only came out yesterday.

thing is, there are a load of references to version 1.0, not just the 2 you mention.....
