Clio 172 + Audi A3
Righty, I will start with a bit of my car history and then onto my project 172
All started here 15 years ago with my 1.2 8v Corsa B
Then moved onto my MG ZS 120+
Then came my Astra H Sri
And now to present day with the daily (ish) Audi A3 sline black edition and the works transit van

So now the project Clio 172, now this car has had a hard life and is a little worse for wear but I wanted a long term project and I think its the perfect car so far.... So a few pics from when I first viewed it... I think most people would have run a mile.

once I got it back to my brothers as that was closest at the time I cleaned in and it didn't scrub up to bad

First and foremost I plan on getting it well and truly roadworthy. Its going to need Engine and gearbox mounts, discs and pads all around, new tyres as the current 205/55r16's are way to big and scrub as I assume its lowered, both front and rear bumpers need painting, the bonnet needs replacing or dent sorting, interior has seen better days and could do with either trying to salvage the seats or replacing completely, wheels will need refurbing as they have been painted black really badly and I can see hints or purple in 2 wheels and hints or orange in the other two.... long term plan is to have the car as a weekend toy / occasional track day car, any suggestions on where to start as I am new the the whole French car / Renault / clio sport scene
