2002 Clio Dynamique DCi80
Hi all,
Just over a week ago i got myself a Clio dci 80, had to get a diesel for high mileage..
Anyway i think there maybe something wrong with the car.. After about 40 mins driving i started noticing a whining noise.
I do mostly motorway driving and when i first set off the noise isn't there, it normally comes after 40mins-1hr drive, if i stop the car - the noise goes away so i think that would rule out belt tensioners, right??
If I put the car in to the neutral when im going at 70mph the noise is still there and it doesn’t increase with revs (just thought i'd metions this as it might help pinpoint the prob)..
My common sense tells me that it could possibly be the bearings, but as i don’t know much about cars i wanted to know whet you think.. also why would the noise start after about 40 mins driving???
Cheers,
Ged
