Power-steering Switch Installation TIPs

  RSC 172 Ph2
After being on the order for a long while now my part has finally arrived - the PS switch. Now that it is here I am wondering if any of you expérimenté reno vets would be able to give me a few words of advice before I tackle the task of replacing the old one (or refer me a source - haven't found anything on this forum from my searches).

Is it as easy as removing the old leaking PS switch, catching the PS fluid from making a mess, connecting in my new renault PS switch and then topping up the fluids with the correct procedure (turning the wheels from lock to lock whilst topping up the fluid as it circulates through)?

Is there anything else I am missing?

From what I remember it's just a matter of taking the old one off and replacing it with the new one, then just top up the ps reservoir as you mention above. Literally a 2 minute job.

Cheers Matt. Been meaning to do it ASAP as I think air is sneaking into the power-steering through the leak.

Appreciate the reply.
