Hey folks

might be buying a clio182

i have had quite a few performance cars in my time from astra GSI turbo's to golf GT TDI's

but looking for something fun but not to expensive and the clio 182 seems to be one on my short list

so couple of questions if you dont mind

are all 182's the same with regards to the clutch pedal being very stiff ?

do they all come with xenons and climat control ?

also i have been searching the forums and am i right in saying you can get 300 miles to a tank if sensible ?

how much is it to fill the tank on the wee buggers these days ?

and who used to own the silver one thats on evans halshaw in EK ? as i test drove this yesterday and it had clio sport stickers on it

and when does the belt need done on them ?

All the clutches are stiff, yes.

cups & trophys don't come with climate or xenons.

Nearly £40 to fill the tank.

Aux belt needs doing at 36k or 5 years
Cambelt needs doing at 72k or 5 years.

yep thats answers most of them cheers

just need to find out who owned this silver one and see if its got any issues

it does look well looked after with no marks on the body or wheels what so ever but that goes for nothing if its had a hard life engine wise

this one had the cup wheels, suspension, splitter and spoiler on it

i am very close to buying it

it the one in arnold clark fiat in springburn

Aye just get one with a cup pack or a Trophy if your budget can go there. I am seeing 34 - 36 mpg on a regular basis and that is driving, as my girlfriend put it, 'a joyrider'!

Service are not too bad and there are a lot of independent guys out there now who know their stuff and dont charge too much.

Best handling hot hatch ever - yes!
