Por Sound From Amp

  Slooooow Ass 1.2
Hi Guys,

Need a quick hand, wired up my amp this weekend but seems to be very crappy sound. My Low Pass Filter will not work for sh*t, i was thinking possibly a ground issue? To ground it it have got it to fit under the black metal plate for the seatbelts under the rear bench.

Any help is great, thanks. Such as a better place to groudn amp or any other suggestions.

Cheers,
Luke

Just make sure its metal to metal, no paint in the way. give it a scratch with a screwdriver. Make sure the wire is a good thickness.

is your power lead 8 gauge too?

mine is earthed on the isofix bar. i took mine out though and scraped off the paint on both sides and the underneath where it bolts through the floor.

a sanding attatchment on a drill makes light work of it too but a screwdriver will work.:)

Ye its 8 awg power cable as well. I tried to get the bolt out of the Isofix Bar but it seemed to be getting looser and then it tightened back up on itself. After i managed to break a socket trying to undo it i gave up and looked for an easier opponent.

thats what happened with mine mate^^

its because the bolt goes through the floor i think so it rusts on the under side. i took it to my dads garage so i could use the air tools.

maybe you could get to it from underneath with some wd-40? loosen it up enough to get it out by hand?
