This is what ive done so far today. Still on the 60grit loads left to do!

:SAnybody done around the lettering? Any tips?

Did think of the dremel earlier, going to phone around later on for one!

Also will hammerite paint be ok to paint on it? Used the stuff on my calipers a while back and it seems good.

you gonna use something like brasso/silvo at the end? will put nice shine/buff on it...

Strap a bit of wet and dry to the bottom and i should have my done in no time

Wahoo! :approve: Got a dremel off a mate for tommorow.
Then i add a little bit of paint and it will be done!

sort of, will be good for the top part and the inlet

However might have to get a detail sander for the rest of it

dont use autosol it dulls,you want alu belgom you can normally get it from motorbike shops

you'll do more damage to the surface with a dremel than good.....

get the pictures up - am starting mine at the weekend - have got a dremel but found it a bit harsh when doing the fuel rail guard - what sort of end are you using on it?

Frost sell some small mops that should be ideal for the letters
