please help, 4K rattle again

Please can people give me their experiences with the infamous 4k rattle.

I am really p####ed off, just been unto Kings of Taunton and they want 400 odd quid to sort and say it is not covered by warranty - when I know it is.

I have just sent stroppy e-mail to Renault customer services.

Sorry to bore you all with this one - but i need evidence that people have had this rectified under their warranties for when I name and shame them as robbing b~~~~rds.#

I am very angry and upset - so please help me in my cause of justice

i had mine sorted under warranty as did Dansta and i think most mk2 172 owners

My 182 is in for a new centre section next week to fix this. Thats all under warranty.

I quite like the 4k rattle. As you accelerate, the car goes:

Got a aftermarket cat back exhaust, never had 4k rattle since

I heard the exhaust is only covered for the first year of warranty which may be why they wont do it under warranty?
